: Dan Mills completed his PhD at The University of Edinburgh on the topic of Quantum Characterisation Verification and Validation, with a particular interest in non-universal models of quantum computation and tests for quantum advantage. Some present topics of interest include quantum error mitigation, full stack device benchmarking and device noise characterisation, and distributed quantum computation.
